I have terrible memory. My memory of faces, places, dates and names is hopeless. I've seen same pictures over and over, I've heard stories behind them, and every time I try to tell a compelling story ahead, I get a fact or two wrong, and I make a complete ass out of myself. People who remember, will not be here forever, and I before they go, I want to make sure, that their stories and names are safe and remembered. This is the first reason for this site.

The second reason is that I married an Aussie. Our relatives come from opposite sides of the world, and I want to hear his family's stories as well as my own. They are my family too, now. I want them to know my family's history, even though we cannot sit together at a fireplace sharing those stories. Good thing we've got this thing in use. :)
